Place a metal top stop over the gap where you removed the tooth. Squeeze it tightly with your pliers to secure it. Repeat this process for the other side of the zipper
: Bring the two magnetic bases at the bottom of the zipper close together.
: Listen or feel for the "click" as the magnets pull the sides into the correct starting position.
Pull out the remaining half of the tooth with long-nose pliers. :
